The security deposit or bond covers the damage attributable to negligence, accident or misuse of the vessel by the customer.

The security deposit is compulsory for bareboat charter and the amount depends on the characteristics of the boat. It may also be compulsory for charter of professionally crewed yachts.

The A.P.A. only applies to the rental of crewed yachts, is intended to cover all expenses for fuel, food/drinks, moorings outside the home port and any other extras that may be required by the client.

This amount is calculated between a 25% - 35% of the charter price depending on the characteristics of the boat and the requirements of each client. This amount will be transferred to the skipper who will submit a full accounting of all expenses on request during the charter period and in all cases at the end of the charter.
