Since 1927, Frauscher has been creating incredible and award winning electric yachts for professionals or amateurs around the world. But currently, the company has been innovating with their electric yachts, bringing a new generation to life that is changing the parameters for everybody.

After four years of the release of the 740 Mirage Air, now the shipyard is presenting an upgrade of the boat with improved performance thanks to the use of a Torqeedo Deep Bue 100i drive system, an engine developed in Germany that is leading the market of electric mobility. Also, the use of the revolutionary BMW i3 batteries that are not only powerful, but extremely efficient.

There is no doubt that the professionals on the realm, and even the enthusiastic, are very intrigued and charmed by the new generation offered by the shipyard. Not only the 740 Mirage Air is getting updates, but also the 740 Mirage, the 680 Lido, and the Frauscher 650 Alassio.

What can you expect from this new generation?

Even though the design hasn’t changed much, the new 740 Mirage Air offers more space to take the sun comfortably and take some water toys because now it has a free-standing centre helm. The luxurious yacht continuous to surprise us by offering a 30 litre refrigerated drawer under the seat, JL Audio sound system, a gorgeous teak deck, ambient lightening and an electric anchor winch with stainless anchor and chain.

If we talk about the improvements in its performance, we can say that the new generation of electric yachts by the Frauscher Shipyard is equipped only with the best. The yachts are not only powerful, but efficient using two innovative batteries from the BMW i3, each one with a capacity of 40 kWh. This gives the yacht a range of power of 100 km cruising and 36 km at full speed.

As we mentioned before, the German engine is the Torqeedo Deep Blue 100i drive system is the newest addition with 100 kW of power. This one will be available in the Frauscher 740 Mirage and the 740 Mirage Air joined with 80 kWh battery capacity. The other models, like the Frauscher 650 Alassio, 740 Mirage, 740 Mirage Air and 680 Lido are powered by the Torqeedo Deep Blue 50i system, that has 50 kW of power and joined with a 40 kWh battery capacity.

The biggest advantage of the new generation is that if we compare these engines with petrol or diesel engines, this one is 100% pollution free, which means that the engine and the yacht are approved in every protected and sensitive water that needs special care.

There is no doubt that the new Frauscher generation of yachts is changing paradigms and enchanting every sea lover out there. The updates and innovations are only giving us more efficient, fast and comfortable yachts.
