“Topaz”, or A+, is one of the largest yachts on the world with 147 meters. It was built in 2012 by German shipyard Lürssen, and since then, it has been in the list of the top 20 largest yachts of the world. It belongs to Sheikh Mansour in Zayed Al Nahyan, who is the deputy prime minister of the United Arab Emirates and owner of the Manchester City F.C.

Characteristics of the super motor yacht “Topaz”

Unfortunately, it is not possible to know much about the boat since it is private. But, we still have some important information and features to share about this incredible yacht. First of all, let’s talk about the design. The super motor yacht “Topaz” has an elegant exterior designed by Tim Heywood, and luxurious interiors designed by UK design studio Terrence Disdale Design.

The hull was built with steel and a superstructure of aluminum. It is an eight-floor vessel that connects all the decks with a lift so everybody have access to all the commodities. And also, it provides two helipads, ready to receive people comfortably all the time. All these features just scream to us that this is one of the largest but also heaviest superyachts out there.

It has a diesel engine design by Pielstick with 7,990 HP each. It can reach up to 25.5 knots, but cruising its normal speed is around 22.9 knots.

But this is not all, this is just talking about the structure and special features we can appreciate from outside. There is yet the question of what is inside? And, again, it is a little bit hard to know everything since it is a private yacht, but we still have some idea of the commodities that the super motor yacht “Topaz” offers.

Commodities of the “Topaz”

As we mentioned before, there is not a lot of information confirmed, we know that this super motor yacht  has capacity for 52 guests accommodated in 26 suites on-board, all of them incredibly luxurious. But, also has the capacity for 79 staff or crew accommodated in 40 cabins. This just keeps talking about the volume of the superyacht and make us realize that is definitely one of the largest.

Among other commodities we can mention swimming platforms, two Jacuzzis, a full equipped gym, a movie theater a conference room. And also, since it is so big, it has a lot of space to storage jet skis, mini-submarine, catamaran, inflatable boats and more.

There is no doubt that the “Topaz” has all the luxury and commodities anyone could ask, and this is the reason why it is considered one of the biggest but also one of the most popular luxury motor yachts nowadays.
