The new Tesla of the sea – Electric tender “Q-yacht”

New electric tender Q30 designed around simpleness and totally silent.

Taking a step into the future.  Q-Yachts were founded by an enthusiastic sailor from Finland in 2004 to develop electric propulsion for sailing yachts. The company just launched the tender Q30 to introduce a complete electric tender, designed with simplicity and efficiency in mind that fits perfectly to the silence of electric engines.

The new boat named Q30 has a range of 42 miles with the 30 kW battery pack or 80 miles with the 60 kW battery pack at a cruising speed of ten knots, for fast cruising mode 15 knots, the range decrease to 22 miles (30kw pack) and 40 miles (60kw pack). She´s able to accommodate up to eight guests for day cruising and two guests overnight.

The Q30´ hull and deck are made of lightweight vinyl ester resin and fiberglass that’s been laminated with a shimmering white gelcoat. The result is a hydrodynamically optimized efficient hull that produces minimal wakes, and a boat concept which is simple to operate.

The brilliant styled interior offers the opportunity for an overnight stop with bed for two guests. An all-around LED and LED spots serving to light at night and lets natural light in the cabin.

Q-Yacht has been developed the Q30´ with one mission – bring back the enjoy of being on the water, the shipyard achieved to balance perfectly and developed a boat that can go as fast as possible, for as long as possible and as quiet as possible.
